Go anyway.

The city's Ley de Cafés Notables (1998) recognised these establishments as part of Buenos Aires' intangible heritage. They are not simply cafés — they are meeting places where ideas were argued, revolutions were plotted and poetry was written. The law shields their interiors from modification and provides financial assistance to keep the doors open.
